The founding directors of Triosphere are Anton Truesdale, Oloff Bergh and Dave Salmoni. As a “trio”, they combine diverse talents and experience to propel the company towards their shared passion: programming with true dramatic quality and lasting appeal.

Anton, Oloff and Dave are supported by a longstanding team of production managers, cameramen, editors and writers. Triosphere is, at core, a natural alliance of highly talented, reliable people, who’re drawn to a working atmosphere that encourages initiative and personal growth.

Anton Truesdale is Creative Director of Triosphere’s international productions. He drives the pre-shoot story design and scripting process, directs camerawork and on-screen talent in the field, and guides the story through to final edit and delivery.

Anton has over 12 years’ experience as a Producer, Director, Director of Photography and Cameraman. His recent Director credits include Escape to Chimp Eden (Animal Planet’s headline series for 2008, with all 13 episodes of the first season directed by Anton), Rogue Nature (the highly rated Discovery Channel series), Predator versus Prey (Animal Planet), Sharks: Are They Hunting Us?

(Discovery Channel) and Into the Lion’s Den (a two-hour special for Animal Planet and Discovery Channel).

Anton’s earlier Producer/Director credits include Living With Tigers (a Discovery Channel Quest special), and Ambush in Paradise, Sense & Scentability, Savage Instinct, The Brotherhood, Ghosts of The Great Salt Lakes and Jamu: The Orphaned Leopard (all for National Geographic). For Jamu Anton spent a year on foot in the remote wilderness of Zambia’s Luangwa Valley, raising and filming an orphaned leopard cub.

Anton has worked with his Triosphere co-directors Dave Salmoni and Oloff Bergh for many years, and his credits as a Director are often matched by theirs as Presenter and Executive Producer.

Anton graduated from the Rigate School of Art in the United Kingdom, and became an acclaimed wildlife artist before he entered the film industry. His paintings of African wildlife hang in corporate and private collections around the world.

Dave Salmoni stars as Presenter of such highly rated Discovery Channel and Animal Planet series as Rogue Nature and After the Attack. Dave is also the central character and presenter in specials including Shark Tribe, Sharks: Are They Hunting Us?, Predator versus Prey and Into the Lion’s Den.

Dave’s courage, humour and enthusiasm, and his immediate empathy with animals of all kinds, have made him a household name in North America. He has been a frequent guest on mainstream news and talk shows, with hosts including David Letterman, Jay Leno and Martha Stewart.

Dave is a graduate of the four-year Biology Honors Program at Laurentian University, Ontario, and maintains an academic as well as popularizing interest in the animals he works with. He’s also a respected big cat trainer in the humane modern mold. He entered the training profession after his university graduation, starting as an apprentice and working his way up to master. Several of the lions, tigers and jaguars that have appeared in major Hollywood films were guided safely by Dave through their routines.

Dave’s career as a Presenter took off through his expertise in handling tigers. Flown to Africa to assist with the tiger conservation project featured in the Discovery Channel Quest special Living With Tigers, Dave’s charisma shone through on camera, and drew unprecedented volumes of fan mail. Dave went on to feature in Animal Face-Off and Anatomy of a Tiger Bite, then graduated to presenting his own specials and series.
